GGRS Excursion

September 29, 2007, 1:1 Scale Train Ride

Tennessee Valley Railroad, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Members of the Georgia Garden Railway Society took a 100 mile round-trip from Grand Junction Depot in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Summerville, Georgia. TVRR locomotive #610, a 2-8-0 built by Baldwin in 1952, was turned on the turntable at Summerville for the return trip. Thanks to Ted Yarbrough, GGRS member and sometimes TVRR ticket agent, for arranging the excursion and for taking the photos.
